University Health Community Care Linwood Open House
Linwood YMCA/James B. Nutter, Sr. Community Center
All YMCA members, program participants, volunteers, donors and partners are invited to an Open House to meet the doctors, nurses and office staff of University Health Community Care Linwood on Thursday, February 22, anytime between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served and you can tour the clinic, a 7,000 square-foot facility, which will be staffed by four primary care physicians and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
The clinic, at 3130 Mersington Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64128, adjoins the Linwood YMCA/James B. Nutter, Sr. Community Center.
Providers at the clinic will be able to refer people to YMCA programs to help them manage their conditions. The goal is to reduce and manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, arthritis and high blood pressure, to create a healthier, more physically active Kansas City. This clinic has the potential to become a national model for community-based population health.
To schedule an appointment at the clinic, call TMC Healthcare Navigator Tina Johnson at 816.404.0754.
