Get ready for school with Head Start! This program provides child care and education, including dental and health services, to low-income families. YMCA Head Start programs are hosting enrollment events this summer.

University Health Community Care Linwood is a 7,000 square foot, state-of-the-art medical clinic located adjoining the Linwood Y. The clinic is all about providing you convenient, coordinated quality care focused on family medicine and behavioral health.

There's always something to do at the Y! Find a class or activity and come join the fun.
As part of the Y's commitment to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Linwood Y offers the following youth programs free of charge:
Monday-Thursday, 2:30-6: p.m.
Students in 6th-12th grades engage in positve afterschool activities focused on academic support, enrichment and recreational activities.
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Middle school students focus on leadership, character development, and nonviolent conflict resolution.
High school seniors and juniors explore holistic wellness, employment skills, leadership development and post-secondary planning.
Youth ages 10-14 use science, technology, engineering and math skills to build new and innovative robots.
New and experienced chess players come together to learn and develop skills.

The Linwood Y is now offering the YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program. This year-long program focuses on lifestyle changes to help participants increase their physical activity and lose body weight in order to reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes. The program includes Y membership and access to Kids Zone while you visit the Y.
