Whether it's teaching life-saving swim skills, supporting healthy living, enriching the lives of children through youth programs, helping neighbors access nutritious food or creating opportunities for people of all abilities to thrive, the Y is where Kansas City comes together.

The Y's vision for the future is to stand as Kansas City’s Center of Community - a trusted gathering place for families, youth and individuals. Our 2026-2028 Strategic Plan builds a stronger more connected Kansas City through four priority areas that guide our work: Transform Lives, Cultivate Belonging, Fuel Generosity and Ignite Changemakers.
