Group Exercise for Active Older Adults
Basic daily exercise provides many health benefits and may decrease illness, chronic disease, fatigue and the risk of falling. Group exercise classes are offered in a fun and supportive format designed especially to meet the needs of adults age 55 and older. Enjoy a variety of group exercise classes, including water exercise and SilverSneakers® classes.
Promote joint health while toning and strengthening muscles through our exercise programs specifically designed to accommodate adults with arthritis. Opportunities include Water Fitness classes, land classes, Tai Chi and evidence-based programs like Enhance Fitness.
Social & Wellness
Stay connected with old friends and meet new ones through our social and wellness programs for Active Older Adults. Our Y locations host group outings, health education seminars, volunteer opportunities and events designed to promote mental agility, good health and independence.
