The Platte County Community Centers, operated by the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, are possible thanks to a voter-approved half-cent sales tax to fund Platte County Parks and Recreation. Cardio and strength training units, an indoor pool, steam room, dry sauna, whirlpool, indoor walking track and Kids Zone are just a few of the amenities offered to members.
