No matter what your experience level is, you can always have fun and connect with others at any of our Group Exercise and Water Fitness classes. With 14 centers in the metro, we have one of the largest class offerings in the city. Unlimited group exercise classes are included with your Y membership. (Specialty classes, with a nominal fee, vary by center.)

800 Club

Cardio, Strength Training

This cycle class uses intensive interval training to push your body to new heights. Intervals of cycling and exercises performed off the bike are combined for a total body workout.

This class, certified by the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program, is for people with arthritis who want safe ways to stay active, reduce pain and move more easily.

Active Older Adults

Care for your body, mind and spirit with Tai Chi certified by the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program. This Chinese martial art is known for its health benefits and as a means for dealing with stress. You'll work on relaxation, fluid movements, balance and breathing. Flowing postures blend elements of physical exercise and relaxation.

During BODYFLOW an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Active Older Adults

Enhance Fitness classes are part of an evidence-based senior fitness and arthritis management program. Classes help individuals with arthritis improve strength, balance and cardiovascular health throgh low-impact exercises that are safe for all fitness levels. Pre- and post-program assessments are required to participate in the 16-week class.

Families can get active together in this cardio class with body weight exercises designed for kids 5-13 years. You'll improve strength and endurance and instill healthy habits in your children. This class is free with your Y membership.

This total-body workout helps you increase muscle tone through muscular endurance exercises. Each class challenges your muscles with exercises using various pieces of resistance equipment, including weights, bands, body bars and more. High repetitions and low weight help tone muscles. A chair is used for standing support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
