Enroll in swim lessons at the Linwood YMCA/James B. Nutter, Sr. Community Center! Our programs are about more than just techniques and skills. They are about nurturing swimming skills, developing self-esteem and creating positive experiences that will last a lifetime.

Swim Lessons Information

Group lessons are offered by age and level. Each level focuses on water safety fundamentals, age-appropriate swim skills, and confidence and independence in the pool. From their first splash to strong, capable strokes, every child moves at their own pace with encouragement every step of the way. Levels have fun fish names, from Shrimp to Shark, giving kids a sense of accomplishment as they grow.

WHAT TO BRING: Bring a swimsuit, towel and goggles (without a nose mask) to each lesson. Disposable diapers are not allowed in the pool. Young children must wear a swim diaper and a swimsuit.
