Member Orientation is a FREE service for new and current members providing a personalized, easy-to-follow plan to help support you in reaching your goals.

What is Member Orientation?

When you join the Y, you receive up to three one-on-one sessions with a Y Healthy Living Coach as part of Member Orientation. Sessions will help you find the best path for your wellness journey. They're personalized to help set fitness, wellness, and lifestyle goals that are important to you.

Sessions can include:

  • A wellness assessment to set personal goals
  • A body composition analysis using our InBody digital analysis tool (a $45 value)
  • Fitness equipment orientation – what’s the best equipment to use, safely and effectively
  • Plus a preview of group exercise class options and information on other Y programs that are a fit for you.  

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND MEMBER ORIENTATION?

If you’re new to exercise, Member Orientation is an excellent way to help you get on the path to your goals faster. Even if you are comfortable in your current routine or an experienced fitness enthusiast, Member Orientation can help you make the most of your Y membership. The Member Orientation experience is an opportunity to help you create your own roadmap for success.
 

WHAT DOES MEMBER ORIENTATION COST?

Member Orientation is totally FREE to Y members. Plus, personalized sessions are quick and easy. Up to three 30- to 60-minute sessions are available with a Member Orientation facilitator to help you develop your customized plan for success.


 

IS MEMBER ORIENTATION REQUIRED FOR MEMBERS?

The Member Orientaiton program is not mandatory, but members who attend even just one session within their first two weeks are six times more likely to achieve their goals! It’s a free way to ensure your wellness journey is set up for success from the beginning.
