Disney's Newsies musical spins the inspirational tale of Jack Kelly - a charismatic newsboy who dreams of a better life. When the unscrupulous newspaper tycoon, Joseph Pulitzer, raises prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack along with spitfire reporter, Katherine Plummer, rouse the downtrodden "newsies" to stand up against Pulitzer and fight for what's right! Includes a generous meal and show; choice of coffee, tea or soft drink; $2 drink gratuity; and staff escort. Transportation is on our own and parking is free. Payment secures your ticket. Overnight Trip to St. Louis

Join us for an overnight trip to St. Louis, Mo. Our first stop will be at the Chandler Hill Vineyards for brunch and a mimosa. After lunch, we will experience the National Museum of Transportation for a self-guided tour. From there, we will check-in to the Drury Inn for some time to unwind and enjoy dinner and beverages at the hotel. Next, we will enjoy an outdoor wolf informative talk, s'mores, lemonade and wolf howl at the Endangered Wolf Center. After the wolf howl, we return to the hotel.

The next day will be breakfast at the hotel before we head to Andy's Produce 3 Market to shop for produce, flowers, jams, baked goods etc. After the market, we will visit the Missouri Meerschaum Company's corn cob pipe factory and Washington Museum. Following these stops, we will have lunch at Marquardt's Landing. After lunch, we will stop at Olivino Tasting Bar for an olive oil and balsamic tasting. Our final stop will be a chocolate and wine tasting at Triple 3 Vineyard.

Tour price includes round trip motor coach transportation, brunch, National Museum of Transportation, hotel, dinner, wolf howl, breakfast at the hotel, Missouri Meerschaum corn cob pipe factory tour, Washington Museum, lunch at Marquardt's Landing, Olivino Tasting Bar olive oil and balsamic tasting, wine tasting and staff escort.
 
Minimum of 35 to take the trip at this price with a maximum of 38 spots available. Secure yours by paying at the Welcome Center. No refunds possible after August 1. **Early-bird registration goes through August 1. Members are welcome to bring family or guests on this trip. Bus departs the Olathe Y at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, and returns Thursday, September 19, around 8:30 p.m. Driver's gratuity ($2-$3/per DAY) is not included.

Old-Fashioned Family Murder: In 1942, a junior homicide detective stumbles upon the murder of a famed mystery writer. Trapped in a mansion with several suspects, he finds himself outmatched by the cunning of the killer. His only hope in solving the case -- his mystery-loving mother, who luckily is trapped in the mansion with him!
