Join in on the fun! Participants will learn basic Pom dance techniques and routines, in a fun safe atmosphere. Each student will receive a t-shirt. Participants will also have opportunities to perform at YMCA events and a showcase.

When you garden, you can harvest health! Gardening improves your health in many ways. It’s great exercise and eating more fruits and vegetables boosts your nutrition.
Getting Healthy Through Gardening is a FREE program provided by the University of Missouri Extension Family Nutrition Education Programs. Participants will plant and care for a garden, learn how to prepare healthy fruit and vegetable dishes and be physically active.
Getting Healthy Through Gardening engages adults in fun, hands-on nutrition and gardening activities. The research-based information provided by Getting Healthy Through Gardening helps participants eat more fruits and vegetables and build gardening skills, while promoting healthier food choices and physical activity.

Wellness Event
Eating Smart•Being Active offers research-based information about nutrition, physical activity, food safety and making the most of your food dollars. It is a FREE program provided by University of Missouri Extension Family Nutrition Education Programs. Interactive lessons focus on simple messages related to food, nutrition and tips for feeding your family. Lessons include free food tastings and items that reinforce lesson topics. A certificate of completion will also be awarded at the end of the program.

Join KU ADC's Dr. Ashley Shaw for a discussion designed to empower the community with health education, resources, and opportunities to improve brain health. You will also learn about the latest research studies at the KU ADC.

Thursday: Pom/Cheer
Friday: Tumbling
Art of Dance Showcase: Friday at 6 p.m.
Plus, swimming and Water Safety
Weekly fee is $40 for Y members, $60 for community participants. Daily drop-in fee is $10 for Y members, $15 for community participants.
Before and after care is available for an additional $10 per child.
