Enjoy new adventures, lasting friendships and lots of fun after district summer school programs end for the day.

The Y provides after care during district summer school programs at select school districts. Like Youth Day Camp, participants can explore a variety of interests and have fun along the way. Activities include arts and crafts, science and technology, nature and more.

Academie Lafayette

AGES: 5-12
GRADES: Kindergarten-5th Grade
TIME: 3:30-6 p.m.
FEES: $83 / week
LOCATION: Oak and Cherry Campuses

Platte County R-3

AGES: 5-12
GRADES: Kindergarten-5th Grade
TIME: 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
FEES: $110 / week


Before and after care will be available at these sites during the Platte County R-3 School District's summer school program June 4-29.

Do you know what you want to be when you grow up? It’s never too early or too late to have dreams and ambitions. Campers will look to the future and their explore limitless possibilities.

Time to unplug! Learn about times before technology and really DIG into outdoor education. 

Open up new worlds and possibilities as campers are encouraged to be active and observant through a variety of experiments, games and activities.

Celebrate friendships and connect with new friends by learning the value of friendship through team-building activities, skits and challenges. 

Piper School District

AGES: 5-12
GRADES: Kindergarten-5th Grade
TIME: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
FEES: $110 / week


Before and after care will be available at this site during the Piper School District's summer school program July 9-31.

Please note that the week of July 30-August 3 consists of two days of summer school care (July 30-31) and three days of camp (August 1-3).

Helping our neighbors has never been this much fun! Join us this week as our campers develop a sense of belonging by learning and making an impact in their community. 

You never know when the next great invention will come—it just might start this summer. Learn how to think outside of the box to accomplish tasks, solve problems, and build challenging projects. 

Getting in tune with a healthy lifestyle is more than just eating right and exercising. Campers will explore new exciting skills that help them thrive in body, mind and spirit.
