Swimming is a big part of Brent Graham’s life. While competing in high school and college, he qualified for Junior Nationals and held a school record in the 500 freestyle at Wabash College in the NCAA III division.

Since then, Brent has been a swim coach, working with kids of all ages and abilities. He has certificates as a USA Swimming Coach Member and ASCA Level 2.

Brent started working for the Y in August 2014 and says the best part of his job is working with kids and watching them grow both as swimmers and people. He believes swimming not only helps kids grow stronger physically, but also mentally and spiritually.

Brent grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has a degree in Spanish from Wabash College. He has also taught Spanish for 7th and 8th graders.
