Join your friends to watch "A Man Called Otto," at Anthology of Olathe, 101 W. 151st Street, Olathe. When a lively young family moves in next door, grumpy widower Otto Anderson meets his match in a quick-witted, pregnant woman named Marisol, leading to an unlikely friendship that turns his world upside down. Bring your own snack (popcorn will be provided) and drink if you want one. Space is limited to 18 for this showing so register early at the Welcome Center or online. This event is FREE.
 
Anthology will require a mask in the common areas.

Join a fun-filled day trip to Warm Springs Ranch, home of the Budweiser Clydesdales, in Boonville, Missouri. Our first stop will be lunch and a wine tasting at Les Bourgeois Vineyard, 14020 W. Hwy Bb, Rocheport, Missouri. After lunch, we depart for nearby Warm Springs Ranch. We’ll get up close and personal with these gentle giants, as we learn the history of the breed. And we’ll discover what goes into the development and training of a Budweiser Clydesdale. Then it’s free time to shop and visit the Hospitality Barn for soft drinks or samples of the company’s brews. On the way home, we will stop at Russell Stover Chocolates.

Tour price of $149 includes round trip motor coach transportation, lunch, wine tasting, tour of Warm Springs Ranch and staff escort. Only 35 spots available! Bus departs the Olathe Y at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, May 11 and returns about 7 p.m. Driver's gratuity ($2-$3 suggested) is not included. No refunds possible after April 20.

This thrilling, smash-hit Broadway musical takes you inside Sun recording studio for an unforgettable night of Rock ‘n’ Roll inspired by the famed recording session that brought together Rock ‘n’ Roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records for one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life featuring a score of rock hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “That’s All Right, Mama” “Sixteen Tons’” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Whole Lotta Shakin Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love,” “Hound Dog” and many more.

Based on the show business aspirations and successes of R&B acts such as The Supremes, The Shirelles, James Brown, Jackie Wilson, and others, this spectacular musical follows the story of a young female singing trio from Chicago, Illinois, called “The Dreams," who become music superstars – three talented young singers in the turbulent 1960s, a revolutionary time in American music history. Full of onstage joy and backstage drama, DREAMGIRLS tells the rags-to-riches story of a Motown girl group and the trials and tribulations that come with fame and fortune .
