Healthy Living Director
Erin’s kids think all she does at work is talk to her friends. Although there is more to her job than that, it is a big part of it. And, she loves it.
Her career with the Y began in 2009 at the YMCA in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has held various roles, including membership director, healthy living coach, fitness consultant and membership associate.
Erin is an ACE certified personal trainer and has certifications in Fitness Nutrition Specialty and Les Mills Body Pump and Pound. Helping members reach their goals and get excited about exercise is one of the things Erin likes most about her job. She also loves seeing people gain confidence simply from doing things they never knew they could.
She grew up in Wichita and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in sports information. When not working, Erin loves lifting weights, eating and playing with her kids (followed by a nice glass of red wine!). She also enjoys drinking pretentious and overpriced delicious coffee.
At the Y, Justin enjoys the opportunity to interact with the youth in sports and build strong relationships with others in the Y community. He grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, where he first started working and volunteering for the Y. He worked in various roles in Ohio, including aquatics, Child Watch and sports.
Justin attended and played football at Emporia State University in Kansas, where he received his Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis in recreation and master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation. Prior to his current role, Justin served as a site supervisor in our before and after school program, Y Club.
Outside of the Y, Justin serves as a youth leader at his church and also enjoys working out, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends.
