Ready for Kindergarten
Our preschools provide a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and supported while learning, growing, making friends and preparing for the world of kindergarten.
TIME: 7 a.m.-6 p.m. (full-day), 7-11 a.m. or 11 a.m.-3:15 p.m. (half-day), after care available
FEES: $170 / week (full-day) $100 / week (half-day with before and after care) $70 / week (half-day, no before or after care)

Spots are available at our preschool program for ages 3-5 at Santa Fe Trail Elementary in the Shawnee Mission School District. This program is open to anyone regardless of whether you live in the district.

Our 2020 summer session runs now through July 31. The full-day summer program continues to focus on learning, but with exciting themes weekly and lots of summer fun.
Our 2020-2021 school-year program begins August 12 and follows the Shawnee Mission School District Calendar. The curriculum focuses on school-readiness. Care is available on days when school is out, including snow days, conference days and holiday breaks. Full-day options are available. Half-day options are available to children enrolled in the Shawnee Mission School District Pre-K program.

Santa Fe Trail Preschool
Our preschool programs at Santa Fe Trail Elementary offers a variety of features to provide your child with a positive experience. Our educated staff lead students through a curriculum focused on kindergarten readiness skills and incorporates the YMCA Core Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Nutritious snacks are provided daily. Fully licensed by Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
Preschoolers have access to the Before and After School program for school-age siblings who attend Highlands Elementary.
