Why Work at the Y
You’ll be a leader in our mission of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. You’ll also have opportunities for your own personal and professional development.
Future employers respect the Y
When future employers see the Y on your resume, they think of a nonprofit organization with local impact that’s part of a national and international network that’s existed for more than 175 years. We have a reputation for hiring good people who do great things.
Enjoy fulfilling work
Early Education is so much more than day care at the Y. As part of the Y’s Early Education team, you’ll discover the joys of helping kids learn, stay physically active and giving them a healthy snack or meal that many of them may not have at home. You’ll prepare preschool-aged children for success in school and be a connection that kids need to feel accepted, safe and welcome in a diverse environment, and help them build positive self-esteem and sense of self-worth. Overall, you’ll be part of delivering the Y’s mission to provide quality early education to all in need, regardless of their financial resources.
Free Y membership
When you work for the Y, you’ll enjoy the perks of being a Y member including access to all Y centers and discounts on programs, child care and summer day camp.
The best co-workers ever
At the Y, you’ll work among others who share a nonprofit mission of creating a welcoming, safe, family atmosphere for children in our communities. Plus, it’s a great place to make new lifelong friends that share a desire to make our community a better place.
