Youth Flag Football

AGES: 5+ through 12th Grade

DAYS: 1 practice per week, 1 game per week. Practices begin the week of November 20. Games are from December 2, 2023 - February 3, 2024. No Games December 23 and December 30.
FEES: Prices before October 17: $100 member/$120 Community Participants; Prices starting October 17: $120 Member/$140 Community Participants

The Y's Youth Flag Football is sponsored by the Kansas City Chiefs. The focus is on teamwork in a positive and structured program. Children learn how to throw, catch, run routes and other aspects of the game that will keep them active and develop skills such as hand-eye coordination. In addition, children will have an opportunity to develop leadership skills and build self-esteem as they learn.

Bitty Sports

AGES: 3-5

In Bitty Sports, kids ages 3-5 years experience a fun introduction to the game with an emphasis on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Children build confidence and social skills in a structured, fun, and non-competitive environment.

Adaptive Sports for All Abilities

Kids of all abilities have the opportunity to play sports with Y Challenger. Through baseball, basketball, bowling, flag football, soccer, tennis and fitness, ages 4-30 with special needs can stay active, learn teamwork and build confidence.
