Youth Day Camp
TIME: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Summer School Before and After Care
TIME: Until 6 p.m.
The Y provides after care during district summer school programs at select school districts. Like Youth Day Camp, participants can explore a variety of interests and have fun along the way. Activities include arts and crafts, science and technology, nature and more.
YVC Summer of Service
TIME: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
FEES: $79-$89 / week
Teens can make a difference in their community this summer. Youth Volunteer Corps, hosted by the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, offers weekly service opportunities for youth ages 11-18. Each project includes icebreakers, team-builders, and service-learning lessons.
Financial assistance is available.
There is a one-time program registration fee of $20.
Transportation is available for select projects. Drop-off locations include the Cleaver Family YMCA, Paul Henson Family YMCA and YMCA Youth Development Services office.
Camp Wood YMCA
Tucked within the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas, Camp Wood YMCA gives youth an opportunity to participate in life-changing, outdoor experiences that foster healthy decision-making, lasting friendships, skill development, and strengthened values in a safe, friendly environment. Traditional and teen camps are available all summer, as well as specialty camps centered on the culinary arts, construction, leadership and outdoor activities like horseback riding.
