Lance Hinson, Executive Director

Hometown: Rockwall, Texas

Y Start Date: March 2026

Certifications: BS Kinesiology / Minor Psychology / Masters of Social Science

Hobbies: Spend time with family, golfing, watching my favorite sports of football, hockey, & golf.

Favorite part of working at the Y: The people! From members of our facility to the corporate office. The culture is warm and welcoming.

Kylie Farag, Aquatics Director

Hometown: Harrisburg PA

Y Start Date: March 2025

Certifications: CPO - I have been in aquatics for 10 years, I now also hold my Lifeguarding Instructor Certification

Hobbies: I love to read, be in the water especially oceans or lakes, play with my dog, any sort of arts and crafts project, and I also love writing and hope to someday also be an author

Favorite part of working at the Y: Working with everyone, staff and members included. Everyone has been so wonderful since I have started and I love coming into a center with an atmosphere filled with kindness. I also love training future lifeguards! There are so many life saving skills that are shaping the minds for the future and I love being apart of that!

Amy Rocha, Member Engagement Director

Hobbies: Spending time with family and friends, traveling, and all things Disney.

Favorite Part of Working at the Y: The people! Building connections, creating a welcoming environment, and making a positive impact in our community each day is what makes working at the Y so special.

Additional Info: Amy proudly calls Platte City home and has been spreading Y spirit since April 2022. She’s a proud mom of five and Gigi to three amazing grandkids — so you could say she’s a professional multitasker with a big heart! When she’s not at the Y, she’s making memories with family and friends, planning her next travel adventure, or embracing her love for all things Disney. Amy believes in bringing energy, positivity, and maybe even a little fun flair to each day. She is passionate about serving her community and loves being part of a place that truly makes a difference.
