Christmas Light Trolley Ride

Share in the holiday spirit as we view the lights at Crown Center and the Plaza. Gather in Gen A for hot chocolate and cookies before we depart. Trolley is heated and enclosed. Dress in your favorite holiday sweaters. Cost: $20/person. Please register at the Welcome Center.

Dinner and a Movie

AMC Theatres off Barry Road

Join us at AMC Theatres off Barry Road for an afternoon movie followed by a meal at The Olive Garden off Barry Road. Movie selection will be determined by the group. Participants will be responsible for the cost of the movie ticket and dinner. Kathy will call you the Thursday before 3 p.m., to give the movie and meet-up time. Please register at the Welcome Center.

Field Trip: The Nutcracker

Kauffman Center

Enjoy a matinee performance of “The Nutcracker” at the Kauffman Center of the Performing Arts. Space is limited. Cost: $60 per tickets. Tickets are non-refundable. The group will have brunch at
Nick & Jake’s at 11 a.m., then carpool to the Kauffman Center. Cost: $60, Non-member rate $75. Please register at the Welcome Center.

This class is geared toward people with arthritis.  It focuses on strength, balance, and cardiovascular health.  It is an evidence-based class that requires a pre/post assessment to show your results over a 16 week period.

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Aqua Kickboxing is a high-energy, martial arts-inspired workout that is for all athletic levels. Punch and kick your way to a total body workout that is low impact while building endurance, strength and coordination. Be ready to sculpt and tone your body. Then finish with yoga inspired stretching. A suit and towel is all that is needed. Be ready to splash some fun around!
