The group will discuss "The Giver of Stars", by Jojo Moyes. Set in a small Kentucky town in Depression-era America, the novel details the lives of five women who become traveling librarians, delivering books to the people of Kentucky. The story follows Alice Wright, a British woman, who moves after marrying the Kentucky native Bennett Van Cleve. What is palliative care? What is hospice care? Join Kristen Jumps with Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care to learn the differences between these 2 services. Space will be limited to 24 people so we can social distance everyone for this programming. Sign up by Monday, 10/19 to reserve your spot. Also, masks will be required during the program presentation and while not eating. Individual lunches will be provided for the presentation. The seminar will be held at the Olathe YMCA in the Community Room.

Join your friends to watch "Judy" in the Travanse movie Lounge. Travanse will provide hot popcorn, but bring your own drink. For the 11:00am showing since it is over lunch feel free to bring a snack or dessert to share. Both showings will have popcorn.

Judy is a British biopic recounting the life of legendary Hollywood star, Judy Garland. The actress is a beloved icon in the United States where she stared in musical classics. The action takes place during a 1969 European concert tour in which the star sold out shows in London for five consecutive weeks.

Space is limited to 25 for both showings so sign up early in the blue AOA binder at the Olathe Y.
