This Alumni Program is for LIVESTRONG participants who have already completed the 12 week initial program once. Alumni can elect to do the program a second time either for FREE as a member, or at $60 as a community participant. All participants must be approved by Jessi Davis to enroll, registration closes February 2.

Puzzle enthusiasts, get ready for the ultimate challenge as you vie for the title of Olathe YMCA Puzzle Master at our first jigsaw puzzle tournament! Form a team of four or fewer members and compete to complete a 500-piece puzzle in the shortest time possible. The time limit for this competition is set at two hours, and exciting prizes await the top-performing teams. Click the link to register now and read over the tournament rules.

Join us as we enjoy a free lunch and tour of the Healthcare Resort of Olathe. Lunch will be catered by the HCRO chef! After we enjoy lunch, we will be given a tour of the facility. There will be time to ask questions regarding the facility and their services. In order to receive lunch, you must sign up by February 23. You can sign up at the welcome center, call (913) 393-9622 or register online with your YMCA account.

Join your friends to watch the 2023 film The Boys in the Boat. The triumphant underdog story of the University of Washington men's rowing team, who stunned the world by winning gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drink, popcorn will be provided. Space is limited to 18 for this showing so register early at the Welcome Center or online. This event is FREE.

The group will discuss The Light We Lost by Jill Santopolo. Lucy and Gabe met in New York on 9/11. They vowed then that their lives would make a difference. But their careers took them to different continents. What follows is a 13-year journey of dreams, desires, jealousies, betrayals, and love. You are welcome to bring a guest and your lunch or snacks. You must provide your own copy of the book.

Ready for new career in health and wellness? Want to start your own personal training services? The Y offers Certified Personal Training (CPT) instruction, accredited through NASM that can help you become a nationally-certified trainer. Becoming a CPT can lead to rewarding work in health and fitness, helping make a difference in people’s lives. Register by March 12, 2024. 

Class is every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Elvis: Aloha from Vegas traces The King's journey through the '70s. It was a period of reinvention, kicking off a seven-year annual residency at the International Hotel in Las Vegas, running through the sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, and culminating in a historic international live satellite broadcast from Hawaii, all set to unforgettable songs like "Burning Love," "Suspicious Minds," and of course, "Can't Help Falling in Love."

To RSVP and make payment, visit the Welcome Center by February 29th. Lunch will be served at 12:00 pm, and the show will start at 1:00 pm. Transportation to The New Theatre & Restaurant is on your own, parking is free, meet at New Theatre at 11:30 a.m. Payment secures your ticket. Y members are welcomed to invite friends and family to join them.

Come bring the kiddos to hunt for eggs in the warm water pool to get in the Easter spirit! A fun activity for families to enjoy with three open timeslots between 1:00 - 2:30 pm. All participants must pass a swim test or wear a life jacket, and children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Brad Minns is a walking miracle, deaf since of age of three, Minns became the world's best deaf tennis player in a comeback match that's never been equaled on the Olympic, Collegiate or Professional Stage. This is more than a story about perseverance and overcoming obstacles, it's a story of faith and God helping us to do our best against all odds. Minns' story is not just about tennis, but learning how to put your trust in God and never give up no matter what you face. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drink, popcorn will be provided.
