Memorial Day Hours
All Y centers will open at their normal time and close at 1 p.m. Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day. Y offices, camps and early learning centers will be closed. Check with your Y location for modified class schedules and Kids Zone availability.

Win for KC Triathlon Training Session Begins
This tri training group meet to practice and train for local Kansas City triathlons including the Win for KC triathlon for women only. Suitable for first time and veteran triathletes. Sessions will be held Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m., June 1-July 27.
Providence - Dodgeball Tournament - Team
It's tournament time! Grab your co-workers, your friends, maybe even your Grandma, and join us for our first ever Providence YMCA Dodgeball Tournament.
The tournament will located in the gym at the Providence YMCA. Teams are co-ed. Each team must have at least one woman participant. All participants must be at least 18 years old.
Cleaver - Barbell Technique Workshop
Squat, Bench and Dead Lift Clean better! Become better equipped to safely work with free weights.
Safety, proper form, and variations of popular full body lifts.
Sessions meet Sundays from 1-2 p.m. June 4-25. Cost is $30 for Y members, $0 for community participants.
University Health at Linwood Groundbreaking
Our partner Truman Medical Center will break ground on the University Health Clinic adjoining the Linwood Y on Monday, June 5. All are welcome to celebrate with us to mark the beginning of a new clinic that will offer family medicine with behavioral health. Refreshments will be served. University Health at the Linwood Y will be a 7,000 square-foot clinic serving Y members and the community.
PCCCS - AOA - Kactus Creek Croquet
Enjoy grilled hot dogs and golf croquet with Kathy. Meet at 5 pm. in PCCCS lobby to carpool. Regulation course lit for evening play. Bring a side dish to share and your favorite beverage.

Join Kathy for dinner at Spin Pizza and then take in an early movie at AMC Barrywoods. We will have you home before dark. Meet at PCCCS to carpool. Bring money for dinner and movie. More details available in the June Month in a Glance.

At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at the Y. Kids enjoy games, crafts, dinner, swimming and more centered around a unique monthly theme.
