Incidents of fraud are on the rise, and scammers' tactics are becoming more complex. This presentation will help give you the information you need to Outsmart the Scammers. During the program, we'll discuss how to spot certain red flags that may indicate a fraudulent encounter, resources individuals can turn to in the event they or loved ones are targeted, and steps attendees can take to help protect themselves and loved ones. A boxed lunch will be provided with registration.

John Hickam is a West Virginia coal miner who loves his job and expects his sons, Jim and Homer, to follow in his footsteps. But Jim gets a football scholarship, and Homer becomes interested in rocket science after seeing Sputnik 1 crossing the sky. John disapproves of his son's new mania, but Homer begins building rockets with the help of friends and a sympathetic teacher. Rocketry, he hopes, will prove his ticket to a better life. They will outline the types of housing options, their costs, and what questions we should ask about each. ELI is providing a box lunch for this event. • Cost per ticket is $36 until September 8. After that date, the cost is $41 per ticket.
The price includes the show; a generous meal; choice of coffee, tea or soft drink; $2 drink gratuity; free parking; and staff escort.
• No refunds are possible after September 8. If you want to cancel after that date, you will have to find someone to buy your ticket.
• Once our block of 65 tickets is sold out, there is no guarantee that we can obtain more. So, you are encouraged to buy your ticket(s) as soon as you can.
Transportation is on your own. Parking is free.
