Matter of Balance Class

Active Older Adult Events
to
Free class for older adults who are MEMBERS of the Y and are concerned about falling or have fallen.This class will help with viewing falls as controllable, setting goals for increased activity and improving balance, flexibility and strength. You can make changes at home to reduce fall risk. Class is led by a North Kansas City Hospital Registered Nurse.
This class is for those who want to increase activity and exercise and can walk independently (a cane is okay). Not appropriate for those with dementia.
Class is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday, March 27 through May 15.

Widows and Widowers (WOW) Lunch at Asian Buffet, 511 NW Barry Road, Kansas City. Meet up with your WOW friends for lunch as you enjoy each others friendship and company. Lunch is on your own. Please register at the Platte County South Welcome Center.
