No School Days

For those irregular days when school isn't in session, such as seasonal breaks, conference days and in-service days, the Y offers No School Days at locations throughout the area.

AGES: 5-12
TIME: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
FEES: $30 per child per day*

Important information regarding No School Days:

  • If a child is not registered for 2023-24 Y Club, you will be automatically charged a $75 one-time registration fee.
  • You must bring a copy of your child’s Emergency Information Packet to the No School Day location. 
  • You must bring a sack lunch. A morning and afternoon snack will be served. Read more about what to expect at a No School Day
  • Tuition for No School Days is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No School Days have limited space availability. 
  • Register early. All registrations will close one week prior to the scheduled No School Day.
  • Programs are subject to cancellation when low enrollment occurs. Decisions will be made one week before the scheduled program

WHAT TO EXPECT
AT A NO SCHOOL DAY

Qué traer a un Día Sin Escuela:

  • Una copia de tu Paquete de Información de Emergencias (descargar aquí)
  • Formulario de autorización de medicamentos y los medicamentos 
  • Lunchera
  • Juguetes y aparatos electrónicos de casa por favor no traerlos. Libros y cuadernos sí se aceptan. 

Horario diario:

Horario de operaciones: De 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • 7-9 a.m. - Entrega; Centros de Actividades; Refrigerio de la mañana
  • 9 a.m.-4 p.m. - se dividen en grupos de edad; se realizan actividades enfocadas en STEM, arte y aptitud física
  • 4-6 p.m. - Recogida; centros de actividad; bocadillos de la tarde

* El horario puede variar de un sitio a otro, pero esto proporciona una buena idea del día que tu hijo tendrá. Se programarán eventos especiales, oradores invitados y excursiones.

Nuestro Equipo: 

Nuestro personal de Día Sin Escuela son asistentes de Desarrollo Juvenil, Líderes de Desarrollo Juvenil, son asistentes de Supervisores de Sitio y Supervisores de Sitio de las ubicaciones del Y Club del área. Mantenemos una proporción de 15: 1 en el sitio; Proporción 10: 1 para viajes de campo. Habrá 1-2 directores principales para la ubicación de NSD. Se pondrán en contacto contigo en relación con el horario, eventos especiales y otros artículos.

Expectativas:

Las expectativas de los niños participantes son: vivir activamente nuestros cuatro valores centrales (cuidado, honestidad, respeto y responsabilidad); escuchar y seguir las instrucciones del personal y saber que estan seguro mientras esté en el programa. Si tu hijo no puede seguir estas pautas, es posible que no puedan asistir a nuestros programas.
