Michelle Ford,
Executive Director

Michelle Ford

Hometown: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Y Start Date: March 1990

Certifications: BA-Health Education Recreation from the University of Oklahoma.  YUSA Faculty in Annual Support Campaign Training.

Hobbies: Golf, Spending time at the lake fishing and boating, walking my dog, watching football: Kansas City Chiefs and Oklahoma Sooners and spending time with friends and family

Favorite part of working at the Y: “Working with an incredible group of staff and volunteers and talking with members.”

Additional information: Michelle was a team leader opening two new YMCAs in Olathe and Bonner Springs and instrumental in starting the YMCA Challenger program for kids with diverse abilities in 2006 and also spearheaded the construction of our all accessible challenger sports complex that opened in 2010. She has extensive background in fundraising including capital, annual and planned giving and she is a YMCA of the USA Faculty Trainer in Annual Support Campaign. 

Sarah Srock,
Healthy Living Director

Hometown: St. Joseph, Missouri

Y Start Date: March 2006

Certifications: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism, A.F.F.A. Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Certification, Y Weight Loss facilitator, Livestrong at the Y Trainer

Hobbies: I enjoy taking adventures with my husband and three daughters. I also like spending time near the ocean, coaching our girls in sports, going for long runs outside, and catching up with friends and family!

Favorite part of working at the Y: I enjoy learning about the members who walk through our doors. I am fortunate enough to work in an environment where I am inspired daily by the stories our members share with us.

Hobbies: Reading, walking my dog and trying new restaurants around the Kansas City area

Favorite part of working at the Y: “My favorite part about working at the Y is seeing how much of an impact small, meaningful gestures or kind words can make on individuals’ lives. I love knowing I am working for an organization that is building a stronger community.”

Raygan Burch,
Aquatics Director

Y Start Date: May 2015

Hobbies: "I really enjoy reading and drawing in my spare time, as well as going on long canoe trips with my friends during the summer. I also dedicate a lot of my free time doting on my 2 year old Basset Hound named Leohna. Lastly, I love to play chess and other board games with my friends every Sunday."

Favorite part of working at the Y: "I've truly loved meeting members and hearing their stories. Each time a new member tells me their story or their 'Y,' it allows me to really notice the difference we make here. Working for the Y has allowed me to make connections with our community that have only grown stronger with my time here."
