The group will discuss The Stranger Diaries by Elly Griffiths. A high school teacher who teaches a course on Gothic writer R M. Holland finds herself in the middle of a real-life mystery when one of her colleagues is found dead, with a line from Holland’s iconic story “The Stranger” left by her body. Won the 2020 Edgar Award for Best Novel, and The (London) Times’ Crime Book of the Year.
