Come see “Always A Bridesmaid” with us at the New Theatre & Restaurant.
 
Tickets are $36. Please register at the Platte County South Welcome Center. Last day to purchase tickets is September 8. Tickets are non-refundable. The tickets will be available to pick up a week before the show at the Welcome Center. You can drive yourself or carpool. If you are carpooling, meet on the day of the show in Gen A at 10:40 a.m.

The Y is working to help ensure that our community has access to fresh, nutritious food through Mobile Pantry food distribution programs in partnership with Harvesters. The programs address a growing need for those unsure where their next meal will come from. 

Participants stay in their vehicles while volunteers load fresh produce, canned goods and a variety of other non-perishable items into their vehicles. All in need are welcome. The Mobile Food Pantry at the Olathe Family YMCA occurs on the first Wednesday of each month.

Red Cross Lifeguard Course

Gain the skills to save a life in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training. In this course for ages 15 and older, learn how to keep people safe in and around the pool. The comprehensive course offers up-to-date information on how to guard by anticipating and preventing problems before they occur and how to take action to help those in danger when necessary. The course includes accident prevention, guarding techniques, pool management and even more safety skills.
 
Friday: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Join KC Crew for a fundraising cornhole tournament benefitting the Kirk Family YMCA! Taking place on the turf field at the Kirk Y, each team will play four round robin games. This is a 32-team tournament comprised of at least two players. In addition to cornhole, there will be tailgate games, food trucks, music and tours of the beautiful new Kirk Family YMCA. Prizes are available for the first place winners!

AOA Book Club: "The Book of Lost and Found"

The group will discuss The Book of Lost and Found by Lucy Foley. Alternating between Kate's present-day hunt and voices from the past, The Book of Lost and Found casts light on family secrets and love — both lost and found.
 
You are welcome to bring your lunch or snacks and a guest with you. You must have your own copy of the book.

Join Kelly for a fun trip to Bentonville, Arkansas! We will be touring the North Forest Lights at Crystal Bridges Museum, visit Cooper's Chapel, do a small hike at Tanyard Creek, walk around Compton Gardens, and tour inside Crystal Bridges Museum. Price includes the Airbnb, three meals, and entry to the North Forest Lights. We will carpool. Space is limited to 15 people. Register by October 8, 2023.
