Kids Night Out

Youth and Family Events
to
At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids, ages 3 to 11, engage in fun and safe activities at the Y. Kids enjoy games, crafts, dinner, swimming and more centered around a unique monthly theme. Check-in is from 4:30 to 5 p.m. The program starts promptly at 5 p.m. and doors will be locked at that time, as the center will be closed. *3 year old's must be potty-trained.
Mindful Miles Walking Club

Wellness Event
to
Join us at Macken Park on the third Monday of every month for an all ages, community walking group. This group encourages all fitness levels to get active, enjoy time outside and socialize with other Y members.
No RSVP or registration is necessary. All you need is yourself and a good pair of walking shoes. Contact our Health Living Director, Nicholas Benakis, at nicholasbenakis@kansascityymca.org for further questions or information.
Mobile Food Pantry

Nutrition
to
The Y is working to help ensure that our community has access to fresh, nutritious food through Mobile Pantry food distribution programs in partnership with Harvesters. The programs address a growing need for those unsure where their next meal will come from.
Participants stay in their vehicles while volunteers load fresh produce, canned goods and a variety of other non-perishable items into their vehicles. All in need are welcome. The Mobile Food Pantry at the Cleaver Family YMCA occurs on the third Tuesday of each month.
Amelia Earhart 2K/8K Run

to
Come for the run and stay for the fun! This is a great, family friendly race held in conjunction with the Amelia Earhart Festival in Atchison, which is back this year! Choose from the challenging 8K run/walk that provides some hills to test your training, or the 2K, which is mostly flat with one uphill and one downhill, perfect for aspiring runners/walkers! It is chip timed with finishers medals given to help enhance those bragging rights! The race begins and ends at the Atchison Family YMCA.
