From Our CEO: COVID-19 Response Update

Dear Y Family,

We understand many of you have questions regarding Y programs and your membership during this uncertain time.

As we respond to prevent the spread of COVID-19, you may visit for the latest information about adjusted scheduling plans.

We ask for your patience and your continued Y membership and program enrollment to support our nonprofit, charitable mission during this time. Our temporary closure, as well as the cancellation and rescheduling of various programs and services in and around our community, is proving to have real financial consequences for nonprofit organizations like the Y that rely on the support of our members, program participants and donors. Please watch my video message to learn more.

Even though we have had to close our Y facilities, we are beginning to shift our focus on things to support our community in a different way.

The Y has partnered with Y360 to offer wellness programs online, free of charge to you as a Y member. These include high-quality workouts you can do from the comfort of your home. Visit to get started and access additional resources.

We also are working closely with public health, licensing and school districts to be able to offer child care for first responders, health care workers and other essential employees. We will share more information about this as it becomes available.

There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any Y facility. Our closure decisions continue to be out of concern for our associates, members, program participants and the community as a whole. If you have questions, you may contact our Business Support Team at 816.360.3311 or

Thank you for being part of our Y family. And thank you for the sacrifices you’re making for your community as we all navigate this challenge. Every small step we take now can have a dramatic positive impact on our community’s health in the days and weeks to come.
