Thanks to all who joined us at the Heritage Club Dinner on April 30, 2026. It was a special evening of connection, reflection and celebration.
Because of our Heritage Club members and most generous donors, the Y continues to be a place where people connect—to safety, belonging, opportunity and hope.
A Memorable Evening
Together, we honored the generosity and impact that make the Y such a vital part of our community. A highlight of the evening was recognizing the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation as the recipient of the Kirk Family Philanthropy Award. Their commitment to opportunity and community continues to inspire our work every day.
We heard from youth program participants representing Y Club before and after school programs, girls flag football, YMCA Challenger and swim lessons. Their heartfelt stories of gaining skills, confidence and connections represent just some of the transformational impact happening every day at the Y.
We also extend our thanks to our keynote speaker, Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, for sharing such a meaningful perspective and stories of community and connection at the Paseo YMCA during the early days of Negro Leagues Baseball.
