SevenDays® is inspiring the next generation to “Thrive with Kindness” at its first-ever Thrive with Kindness Festival, a high-energy, interactive event created especially for teens. The free celebration will take place Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. at the Kirk Family YMCA, 222 W. 11th Street, Kansas City, MO, honoring World Kindness Day.

The festival invites local teens to embrace the power of kindness — for themselves, for others, and in their community — through engaging activities, music, and connection. During the fun evening of activities, attendees will:

  • Learn more about the mission and impact of SevenDays®
  • Discover practical ways to show kindness in daily life
  • Build connections with local organizations and businesses that share a spirit of compassion and inclusion

SevenDays® Kindness Youth Leadership Team has planned great activities for all to enjoy.

Highlights Include:

  • 🏐 Dodgeball Tournament — Friendly competition and teamwork in action
  • 🎧 Live DJ — Keeping the energy high all night
  • 🌮 Taco Truck — Serving up delicious local bites
  • 💛 Kindness Marketplace — Teens “shop” at vendor booths using Kindness Tokens earned through activities, challenges, or acts of kindness

Adding to the excitement, former Kansas City Chiefs olayer Mark Collins will join the festival for a special “Meet and Greet” session from 6:30–7:30 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to bring Kansas City teens together to celebrate kindness in such a fun and meaningful way,” said Kelly Murphy, SevenDays®. “Our goal is to inspire them to see that kindness is powerful — and that it starts with each of us.”
The SevenDays® Thrive with Kindness Festival is free and open to local teens.
