Gina Knapp will join the YMCA of Greater Kansas City as Chief Financial Officer on July 7, 2025. A seasoned financial executive and civic leader, she brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit finance, strategic planning and youth development. Most recently she served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis.
For 165 years, the YMCA of Greater Kansas City has strengthened our community, shaping futures and fostering a brighter Kansas City for generations through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As Chief Financial Officer, Knapp’s leadership will lay the foundation for sustainability as the Y enters the next chapter of its long history.
In her new role, Knapp will oversee the organization’s financial strategy and planning, and serve as a key member of the executive team, guiding strategic decisions and ensuring alignment between mission impact and financial stewardship.
