Facility Updates Coming Soon

We have some exciting news to share! New fitness equipment and facility updates are coming to Platte County Community Center South this summer. This includes new selectorized and plate loaded strength equipment, cardio equipment and new flooring in the Wellness Area. We are expecting the process to take approximately seven weeks between June 3 - late July. 

The first floor fitness center will close on June 3 and remain closed until renovations are complete.

The gymnasium will be closed from June 3-5. During this time we will move some strength equipment, select cardio pieces and spin bikes into the gymnasium so that members can use them during the remainder of the renovation. We will open the gymnasium once the equipment has been properly installed.

The second floor, group exercise classes, Aquatics and Kid Zone will remain open.

There will not be any basketball, volleyball or pickle ball during this time.

Renovation Timeline:

• Fitness floor closure (June 3 - late July)
• Paint fitness floor walls (June 6 - June 12)
• Install new flooring on fitness floor (June 17 - July 11)
• New fitness equipment delivered and installed (July 15 - July 17)
• Reinstall items on walls and finalize remaining tasks (July 18 - July 19)
• Grand opening (late July)
