YMCA OF GREATER KANSAS CITY

Planned Giving

The Heritage Club

The Heritage Club is a select group of donors who have included the YMCA Foundation of Mid-America in their estate plans and/or have made a qualifying gift to the YMCA Foundation. When we come together to build the YMCA’s endowment, we can make an amazing difference in our community!

WAYS TO JOIN THE HERITAGE CLUB

YMCA friends and supporters may join the Heritage Club, and our Y team is happy to discuss options with you. There are several ways to join:

  • Make a simple amendment to your will naming the YMCA Foundation of Mid-America as a beneficiary of a portion of your assets.
  • Make the YMCA Foundation of Mid-America a beneficiary of a portion of your retirement plan.
  • Make the YMCA Foundation of Mid-America a beneficiary of a portion of your life insurance policy.
  • Make a qualifying donation to the YMCA of Greater Kansas City.

It's More Than a Donation. It's a Promise.

Imagine the impact your gift can have—helping a child learn to swim, empowering a teen with leadership skills, or ensuring a family has access to health programs for years to come.

By leaving a legacy, you help future generations thrive. When you include the YMCA in your estate plans, you ensure that your values live on, creating a future where every child can grow strong, every family finds support, and every senior stays active and connected.

Your legacy gift is more than just a donation— it’s a promise. A promise that the YMCA will continue to provide life-changing programs for children, families, and seniors, ensuring health and well-being for all.

Together, we build a legacy of hope, belonging, and opportunity. Your gift can transform lives today and for generations to come.

The YMCA Foundation of Mid-America is an endowment fund established in 1976 to support the programs of the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. It is designed to ensure that the YMCA can continue to provide programs and resources to people in need in our communities for future generations.
