AOA Rhythm and Moves Active Older Adults

Rythmn and Moves is a low impact aerobics class with music and dance-inspired moves. Rythmn and Moves incorporates Salsa, Hip Hop, Meringue, Cha-Cha, Belly Dancing, Flamenco, Line Dancing, and more in a cardio format that makes exercising fun. All ages are welcome.

Cycle General

5:30pm - 6:15pm (45 min)

Motivating instruction and driving music will keep you energized as we bring an outdoor cycle experience in doors. We will lead you through a workout comprised of hill climbing, flat terrain and aerobic intervals. Each workout is different as the instructor picks the terrain and sets the goals for each class.

This workout combines high energy and motivating music with synchronized dance movements designed for any fitness level. Zumba incorporates Salsa, Hip-Hop, Meringue, Cha-Cha, Belly dancing, Flamenco and more in a cardio format that makes exercising fun.

Silver Sneakers Classic General

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Boot Camp General

Improve your cardio conditioning as you strengthen your muscles in this action-packed class. You'll get a total body workout through sports specific training, high intensity cardio intervals as well as speed, agility and performance training. BE CHALLENGED, BE STRONG, BE YOU!

H.I.I.T General

High Intensity Interval Training - Cross Training Class- This is a training technique in which you give all-out 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Call the Red Bridge Family YMCA at 816.942.2020 for open and lap swim availability. Please note that the pool closes 30 minutes prior to the center.
