Ready for new career in health and wellness? Want to start your own personal training services? The Y offers Certified Personal Training (CPT) instruction, accredited through NASM that can help you become a nationally-certified trainer. Becoming a CPT can lead to rewarding work in health and fitness, helping make a difference in people’s lives. Register by March 12, 2024.
Class is every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Babysitter Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR

Babysitter Training provides youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Course also includes Red Cross First Aid certification.

The Y offers Certified Personal Training instruction, accredited through NASM, that will help you become a nationally-certified personal trainer. These 22 sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between October 1 and December 12. The deadline for registration is September 17. Register at the Welcome Center or online.
