A big thank you to the Kansas City Chiefs for hosting a fantasy camp for YMCA of Greater Kansas City Challenger athletes, volunteers and families! Athletes participated in a series of Play60 drills on the field, led by the Chiefs Rookie Club. They also each received personalized jerseys at the end of camp.

Thanks to Chiefs Rookies Trey Smith, Devon Key and Dicaprio Bootle, KC Wolf and the Chiefs Cheerleaders for helping make this such a memorable day for our Challenger program participants.

About YMCA of Greater Kansas City Challenger Programs

Throughout the Y, programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible, to ensure all have the opportunity to be active and belong. Individuals with disabilities of all ages have the opportunity to build skills, stay active and connect with friends through YMCA Challenger adaptive sports and social events. Activities are led by volunteers and provide important opportunities for new experiences. Sports include baseball, basketball, bowling, flag football, and soccer. Young Adult social events range from outings to visit attractions around Kansas City to dance parties at the Y.
