The YMCA of Greater Kansas City in partnership with Truman Medical Centers/University Health (TMC/UH) is providing COVID-19 vaccines at the Cleaver Family YMCA starting Tuesday, July 6, 2021. 

Call 816-404-CARE (2273) to schedule an appointment time. Appointments are available during the following times.

• Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Thursdays 3 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Fourth Saturday of the month 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Vaccinations are available for anyone age 12 and older. Those 12-17 years old will need consent from a parent or guardian prior to receiving vaccine. Please download the consent form and obtain a parent or guardian's signature.

Truman Medical Centers/University Health will be administering the Pfizer vaccine, which requires two doses 21 days apart. If you make an appointment for Dose 1, you must plan to be available for Dose 2.

Appointment Details

• Masks are required for your visit.

• You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and registered on site.

• Please bring your ID and insurance card.

• The federal government covers the cost of the vaccine itself and Truman Medical Centers/University Health will bill your insurance to cover the administration of the vaccine. You will not receive a bill. If you do not have insurance, you will still receive the vaccine at no cost to you.

• Once you receive the vaccine, you will be monitored for 15 minutes for any reactions.

• If possible, please print, complete and bring the COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Form to your appointment. Download the consent form now. Otherwise, allow time to complete the form on site.

• If you have any questions regarding your health conditions and whether you should receive the vaccine (pregnant, breastfeeding, auto-immune disease, etc.), please contact your physician.

• Vaccinations will take place at the Cleaver Family YMCA, 7000 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64131.

• Please enter the main entrance of the building where a TMC/UH employee will greet and assist you.
