Platte County Community Center North is proud to partner with COOL to provide a USA Swimming team in Platte City.
The COOL team began swimming at Platte County Community Center in April 2025 after the Y's Blue Wave Swim Team ended. Many Blue Wave swimmers joined COOL, continuing the convenience of practice in Platte City and access to the Y's quality facilities. COOL operates independently from the Y, and the two organizations partner to provide practices and meets in Platte City.
The COOL Swim Team is a year-round USA Swimming competitive swim team. It offers high quality professional coaching, technique instruction, and stroke development for young athletes of all ages and abilities. And along the way, everyone has a good time.
