Silver Sneakers Classic Active Older Adults

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Enhance Fitness Active Older Adults

This class is geared toward people with arthritis.  It focuses on strength, balance, and cardiovascular health.  It is an evidence-based class that requires a pre/post assessment to show your results over a 16 week period.  

A.F.E.P Tai Chi Active Older Adults

12:30pm - 1:20pm (50 min)

Care for your body, mind, and spirit with Tai Chi. This Chinese martial art is know for its health benefits and as a means for dealing with stress. You'll work on relaxation, fluid movements, balance and breathing. Flowing postures blend elements of physical exercise and relaxation. This class is free with your Y membership.

SilverSneakers Chair Yoga Active Older Adults

Chair Yoga:  This class will focus on poses and postures to improve joint range of movement, muscular strength, endurance and balance. Static and dynamic movements are presented with a chair for seated and standing support.
