Zoe's Kids Day Out

YMCA of Greater Kansas City
November 1, 2016
Zoe Rattle the Vote

The Y helps build strong foundations for kids to grow into tomorrow's leaders. That's why the Y supports Zoe for President. While Zoe is a toddler and won't be ready for the Oval Office for a few decades, the Y is here today to make sure all voters get to participate in the the 2016 election.

On Election Day, Zoe's Kids Day Out program lets parents drop off their little Zoes at the safe environment of the Y while voting. During Zoe's Kids Day Out, kids will be engaged in active play and fun activities in our Kids Zone

“Election Day is arguably one of the most important days in the U.S. this year — the ultimate opportunity for Americans to make their voices heard through the democratic process,” said Kevin Washington, president and CEO of YMCA of the USA. “Unfortunately, many people who want to vote find it challenging because they have to take children with them. The Y’s hope is that Zoe’s Kids Day Out initiative enables those parents and caregivers to exercise their right to vote, and ensures children can spend their time in a safe, nurturing environment.”
