Kirk Family YMCA will host an upcoming public meeting for the South Loop Project, a 5.5-acre sustainable urban park over I-670. The South Loop Project team is hosting an open house, where participants can share what park elements are important to them. The South Loop Project is a collaborative effort led by Port KC, the Downtown Council, and the City of Kansas City.
As a public green space and state-of-the-art destination park, it will include features such as accessible play spaces, public entertainment forums, multimodal transportation options and more.
United Healthcare has partnered with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City to bring public Medicare information sessions all around the Kansas City area. Sessions will cover the Medicare basics, different coverage options, enrollment and more. Meetings are open to the public with no registration necessary.
At the Y, we know parents need a break from time to time. With Kids Night Out, parents enjoy a night out while kids engage in fun and safe activities at the Y. Kids, ages 3 through 11, enjoy games, crafts, dinner, swimming and more centered around a unique monthly theme. *Children must be potty trained*
