How to Validate Your Parking at Kirk Family YMCA

To help ensure parking is available for Kirk Family YMCA members and program participants in our lot, we will begin validating parking on Monday, February 28, 2022. Y members and program participants may park in the lot for up to 3 hours at no cost with validation.

Join us on Saturday, June 1, from 2-6 p.m. for a Cornhole Fundraising Tournament benefitting the Kirk Family YMCA, in partnership with KC Crew. Sponsorship opportunities are available and include custom boards with company logo. Team fees are $50 per team, register by May 15.

Join certified Nutrition Coach, Victoria Mata, and learn about a fun fall recipe that can be served as a snack and it is easy to make. She will be talking about the benefits of pumpkin in our diet and will give the participants alternatives on how else they can use pumpkin puree.

Darcy Swan is now senior vice president of Youth Development at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. She will provide leadership and strategy while building relationships to advance before and after school, summer day camp, preschool and other YMCA out-of-school time programs throughout the greater Kansas City area.

Youth and Family Events

The Mid-America Regional Council is hosting Mass Application Events in Clay, Platte and Jackson counties throughout the months of March and April for YMCA Head Start programs. This event is at Lucile H. Bluford Library, 3050 Prospect Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64128.

Applications will be completed on a walk in basis. Last application is taken at 3:15 p.m. No appointment is necessary.
