At the Y, strengthening our communities is our cause and we are committed to helping people reach their full potential. Our New American Welcome Centers (NAWC) are designed to help immigrants - also referred to as newcomers - fully integrate into American society. This luncheon will provide guests the opportunity to gain more knowledge around this initiative through success stories from program participants, educational pieces and conversation.

The North Kansas City YMCA is proud to be partnering with the City of Fountain Sisters to offer a LGBTQ+ family swim night. This event is a safe space for all in our community who want an evening to have some fun! Bring your friends and family to our after hours event and come enjoy our amenities.

As the pandemic continues to affect employment and strain individuals and families, the program addresses a growing need for those unsure where their next meal will come from. Participants stay in their vehicles while volunteers load fresh produce, canned goods and a variety of other non-perishable items into their vehicles. All in need are welcome.
