The Y offers Certified Personal Training (CPT) instruction, accredited through NASM that can help you become a nationally-certified trainer. Join us at the Cleaver Family YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. between June 4 and August 29 to jump start your personal training career! Sign up before June 4 to participate.
Youth Athletic Camp at North Kansas City YMCA

Come join our Youth Athletic Camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. between July 9 and August 1, 2024. During this camp, Nationally Certified Personal Trainers will work with youth ages 12-18 to provide supportive education on exercise foundations. This is done by incorporating speed, agility, power and strength & conditioning training. Our programs teach youth the importance of teamwork, leadership and safety alongside building upon exercise foundations.

Join the Atchison Family YMCA/Cray Community Center for some summer fun and friendly competition! Create a team of 4-6 players and compete with your peers. The winning team will receive championship shirts. Games will be held on Thursdays, starting July 25 and ending August 15, with events such as sand volleyball, track and field, swimming and cornhole. Babysitter Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR

Red Cross Babysitter's Trainings provides youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This trainings will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to start a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic child care and first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Course also includes Red Cross First Aid certification.

When the unscrupulous newspaper tycoon, Joseph Pulitzer, raises prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack along with spitfire reporter, Katherine Plummer, rouse the downtrodden "newsies" to stand up against Pulitzer and fight for what's right! Join us for Grandparents Day at the K as the Royals take on the Twins on September 8. We will be carpooling from the North Kansas City YMCA at noon.
