NASM Personal Training Certification

The Y offers Certified Personal Training instruction, accredited through NASM, that will help you become a nationally-certified personal trainer. These 22 sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between October 1 and December 12. The deadline for registration is September 17. Register at the Welcome Center or online.

Babysitter Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR
Training and Certification

Babysitter's Training provides youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Course also includes Red Cross First Aid certification.

Co-Ed Adult Volleyball League - Atchison

Join our recreational, friendly co-ed volleyball league for men and women ages 16 years and up. There will be a score keeper at each match to make basic rule violation calls. League standings are kept, and the championship team will receive t-shirts. There will be a break in games during the week of Thanksgiving.
