Depart from the Olathe YMCA at 9:00 am and travel to Grinter's Sunflower Farm for a delightful photo opportunity! In the past few years, Grinter's has become the go-to place to visit to celebrate summer's transition to fall.
After that stop, get back on board the motorcoach and visit Bluejacket Crossing Winery in Eudora. This beautiful venue, which began production in 2002, has expanded to eight acres. Blue Jacket will welcome you with wine tasting and a catered lunch.
Next, visit Stone Pillar winery for a tasting of their delicious wines as you look out over the field of grapevines. The farm has been in the Hoff family since just after the Civil War and they have been in the wine-making business since 2007. In 2018 they added cider to their menu, so there are many options for you.
Your last (but not least) stop will be at KC Wine Company, a local favorite in Olathe. Enjoy a tasting there and of course they will have their wine slushes available for purchase. What better way to say goodbye to summer? Arrive back at the YMCA around 4:15 p.m.
Tour includes: round trip motorcoach transportation, Grinter?s Sunflower Farm, tastings at three local wineries with souvenir glasses from each, lunch and full glass of wine at Bluejacket Crossing.

THE LAST ROMANCE is a heart-warming boy-meets-girl comedy. What makes it unique is that the boy and the girl are senior citizens! Love, like aging, they discover, is not for the weak or those without a lively sense of humor. Charlie Robinson plays Ralph Bellini, a vigorous, full-of-life octogenarian with an eye for the ladies. Ralph has had a few years to hone his best jokes and pick-up lines. Michael Learned is Carol Reynolds, an attractive, very well-dressed woman of a certain age who never expected another chance at love and had no defenses against Ralph.
Join one of the most anticipated and talked-about events of the year: our annual overnight trip to Branson, Mo. Our full-sized motor coach will leave Olathe at 6:45 a.m. on September 25 (a Tuesday). First stop is the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Mo., recently voted America's Best New Attraction and America's Best Aquarium in polls by USA Today. We will take self-guided tours of galleries that take us into the natural habitats of the animal kingdom. We'll break for a buffet lunch at the facility's Hemingway Restaurant. From the museum, we continue on to Branson, where we'll check into the Grand Oaks hotel, one of Branson's premier properties. After we're settled in, our coach will take us to an evening meal at the "Branson Wild West Murder Mystery" dinner theater. Then, after we've helped the cast solve that mystery, it's on to Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre for the Legends in Concert tribute to the pop greats. Day Two begins with a hot breakfast at the hotel before we motor on to the morning performance of Hot Rods & High Heels. The show celebrates one of the greatest music eras of all time. After the show, we'll enjoy lunch at the Pickin? Porch Deli. From there we'll go to the Top of the Rock for a golf-cart tour of the 2.5-mile Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail. Finally, we'll board our bus for the ride home.
Along the way home we'll stop for dinner at the group's favorite Braum's, in Ozark, Mo. We expect to arrive back in Olathe about 9 p.m. If you pay by July 23, the cost of the trip is $375/person for single occupancy; after that date, the costs will be $412.50 single.
The cost includes everything described above, except our stop at Braum's. Driver gratuity ($6 suggested) is also additional.
Our Branson trips always sell out, so plan now to secure your reservation with payment by July 23; no refunds possible after that date. You can register and make payment at the Welcome Center.
