Adult 3x3 Basketball - Atchison

Create a team of 3 players, ages 16+, for some friendly competition on the court! Games will be held on Tuesday and Friday nights. The team that wins the championship will receive t-shirts. Register online or at the Welcome Center.
Overnight Trip to St. Louis

Join us for an overnight trip to St. Louis, Mo. Our first stop will be at the Chandler Hill Vineyards for brunch and a mimosa. After lunch, we will experience the National Museum of Transportation for a self-guided tour. From there, we will check-in to the Drury Inn for some time to unwind and enjoy dinner and beverages at the hotel. Next, we will enjoy an outdoor wolf informative talk, s'mores, lemonade and wolf howl at the Endangered Wolf Center. After the wolf howl, we return to the hotel.
The next day will be breakfast at the hotel before we head to Andy's Produce 3 Market to shop for produce, flowers, jams, baked goods etc. After the market, we will visit the Missouri Meerschaum Company's corn cob pipe factory and Washington Museum. Following these stops, we will have lunch at Marquardt's Landing. After lunch, we will stop at Olivino Tasting Bar for an olive oil and balsamic tasting. Our final stop will be a chocolate and wine tasting at Triple 3 Vineyard.
NASM Personal Training Certification

The Y offers Certified Personal Training instruction, accredited through NASM, that will help you become a nationally-certified personal trainer. These 22 sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between October 1 and December 12. The deadline for registration is September 17. Register at the Welcome Center or online.
Babysitter Training with Pediatric First Aid/CPR
Training and Certification

Babysitter's Training provides youth planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Course also includes Red Cross First Aid certification.

Get active this fall as you swim, bike and run during our indoor triathlon. Distances are tracked per activity within the designated time periods. Award presentation immediately following the 10 a.m. Kid's Triathlon. Learn more.

New Theatre & Restaurant - "Old-Fashioned Family Murder"

Old-Fashioned Family Murder: In 1942, a junior homicide detective stumbles upon the murder of a famed mystery writer. Trapped in a mansion with several suspects, he finds himself outmatched by the cunning of the killer. His only hope in solving the case -- his mystery-loving mother, who luckily is trapped in the mansion with him!
Cost per ticket is $41 if paid by October 11; $46 thereafter. Includes a generous meal and show; choice of coffee, tea or soft drink; $2 drink gratuity and staff escort. Transportation is on our own with free parking. Y members are welcomed to invite friends and family to join them.
