Adaptive Challenger

Inclusive sports and programs with volunteer buddies, so everyone plays and belongs.

EVERYONE PLAYS. EVERYONE BELONGS. Growing Together Since 2006

Since 2006, Challenger has grown into a nationally recognized program, expanding from sports to social activities for young adults. While it’s evolved over the years, its heart remains the same:

  • Builds confidence through inclusive activities
  • Creates friendships and social connections
  • Encourages active, healthy lifestyles
  • Supports families and caregivers
  • Offers sports + social opportunities for young adults
  • Fosters belonging with volunteer buddy support

Challenger Sports Programs

Challenger soccer and other adaptive team sports help athletes of all abilities stay active, learn fundamentals, build confidence, and experience teamwork in a supportive environment. Athletes are placed on teams by age and ability and coached by volunteers. Each athlete is paired with a buddy for support, so parents can relax and cheer. Kids build skills through drills, games, and fitness activities that promote healthy living. AGES: 6+
